StartUP Partners with Start Trek (Eleven)
StartUP Foundation is joining forces with Eleven Accelerator Fund to create a special parallel stage on October 11th, the second day of Startup Next Conference 2014. The Start Trek stage will run for half a day and is the conclusion of Eleven’s “trek” around the region’s startup communities. Eleven and friends have been spreading know-how and powerful stories of startups from wider Europe to founders and entrepreneurs from the region. Some of them will make their way here, to Sofia and the Startup Conference Next.
Connor Murphy of Datahug (Dublin, Ireland), Lucie Montel of Rainmaking Loft (Berlin, Germany), and David Scanlon of Enterprise Ireland, have been travelling with the Start Trek, which in the past 12 days has visited Istanbul, Bucharest, Belgrade, Podgorica and Zagreb.

They will share with the Next crowd why speaking up matters, how Ireland built its IT sector, which helped it to become the first debt-ridden country in Europe and what Datahug, a company that Tech Crunch, citing one of the judges at Dublin Web Summit, called “Linkedin on steroids as it not only answers who knows whom, but also how well they know them”, has learned about community and building its own relationships.
Here is how the Start Trek stage program looks like:
14:30 – 14:45 Keynote by Georgi Kadrev (Imagga)
14:45 – 15:00 Keynote by Dilyan Dimitrov (Eleven)
15:00 – 15:15 Why Speaking Up Matters by Lucie Montel (Rainmaking Loft)
